Lynx Entertainment record label rising star Kuami Eugene has been adjudged the “Most Promising Artiste in Africa” at the just ended All Africa Music Awards.
The ceremony held at the Accra International Conference Centre on Saturday, November 24, saw the highlife/afrobeats performer bag the award with his controversial song, “Confusion” .
He beat stiff competition from his label mate KiDi, Amanda Malela, Blanche Baily, DJ Zoumanto, Gaz Mawete, King Promise, Ko-C, Lily, Lyna Mahyem and Tamy to clinch the prestigious award.

Kuami Eugene faced heavy criticism from Ghanaian music lovers in February this year for allegedly ‘stealing’ Malian musician, Sidiki Diabaté’s 2016 hit single, “Fais moi Confiance”.
