Ghanaian Journalist Confirmed Dead After Yesterday’s Kenyan Terrorists Attack

Ghanaian sports journalist and LG Electronics employee James Oduor aka ‘Cobra’ is among those who have been confirmed dead following Tuesday’s terror attack in Nairobi, Kenya.

The sports journalist who worked at LG Company in the Customer Service Department situated at 14 Riverside, was trapped inside the offices on Tuesday evening when the attacks started.

Popular Ghanaian journalist, Saddick Adams also tweeted, “Sports Journalist and LG Electronics employee James Oduor is among those who have been confirmed dead following yesterday’s terror killings at 14 #Riversideattack in Nairobi. Rest well comrade”.

Kenya Football Federation’s Nick Mwendwa led tributes for the man described by sports journalists as a ‘ray of hope’ in Kenyan football.

“Fare thee well my friend. Your good spirit will live on in football. You did your part. We shall do ours and remember you,” Mwendwa tweeted.

Coincidentally, today would have been his birthday. He is survived by his wife and one child.
