Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo refused to discuss his Portugal future after bowing out of the World Cup following Portugal’s 2-1 defeat by Uruguay on Saturday.Ronaldo who hit an opening day hat-trick was without a serious chance as his side were shown the competition’s exit door by an Edinson Cavani inspired Uruguay.

Ronaldo, who will be 37 by the time of the next World Cup, refused to be drawn on whether he planned to extend his international career did, however, say that European champions Portugal could look forward to the future with confidence.
